Just Answer the Question

One of the great benefits of having a smooth system in place is that you can easily implement it. That’s exactly what happened when one of our commissioners requested an informative Web site to help county residents with the upcoming 2010 census. The simple, one-page site is designed to quickly answer user’s questions and be easy to maintain. Notice that we answer most questions with a link to the official census Web sites, but those we could not were answered as succinctly as possible. We also provide a contact page to let users give us their feedback or ask further questions.

I received the following feedback from one of the site editors: “I want to say a special thanks to Tom. He is so helpful. He really provides the guidance so novices like me can understand creating effective websites. I couldn’t do any of it without his help.”
