The 2008 Digital Outlook Report from Avenue A | Razorfish
Avenue A | Razorfish have released their 2008 Digital Outlook Report. I am a big fan of their Digital Design Blog, and this great thinking as well, especially how companies need to leverage their brands into consumers’ lives by allowing the consumer to generate content about it. There are also some great thoughts about the “every page is your home page” phenomenon brought about by Google.
The thing that struck me the most was their mention of Microsoft and they work they have been up to. Steve Ballmer is definitely making some huge moves in going after Yahoo and releasing their code to the open-source world.
The document makes some very solid predictions and is a good reminder to keep your eyes on Microsoft. Their aggressive new game plan is shaping up to be something to watch in 2008.
